Our Mission
The ARK Rescue is a result-driven Namibian organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for neglected or abandoned dogs and cats. With a special focus on rehabilitating animals battling cancer, diseases, or injuries, we strive to give them a second chance at a healthy and fulfilling life.
One of our primary objectives is addressing the pressing issue of overpopulation among domestic animals in Namibia. This challenge has profound implications for both the community and animal welfare. To combat this, we place great importance on sterilisation for all our rescues, ensuring they do not contribute to the breeding population. By prioritising this vital step, we actively work towards reducing the number of unwanted animals and creating a more balanced and sustainable environment.
Education plays a pivotal role in our mission. Through educational programs and engaging social media outreach, we aim to foster a community where animals are respected, treated with kindness and compassion. We promote responsible pet ownership, emphasising the importance of vaccinations and sterilizations as standard practices. By addressing the human-animal conflict we encounter daily, we strive to build a better future for both animals and people alike.
At The ARK Rescue, our tireless efforts are driven by our commitment to making a positive impact on animal welfare and the communities we serve. Together with our dedicated team of three, we continue to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome neglected or abandoned animals, offering them a chance for a brighter future.
Join us in our mission to create a world where animals are cherished, communities are educated, and compassion prevails. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of these resilient animals and build a more harmonious coexistence between humans and animals.
